Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee is charged for those who give insufficient notice that they will be unable to attend an appointment or those who fail to show for appointments. The Clinic charges a cancellation fee of $45 for late cancellations or missed appointments. We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of appointments.

Payment Options

We have Eftpos facilities and can accept all major Credit CardsPlease note that we can no longer accept Cash payments.

HICAPS facilities are available to clients with the appropriate Private Health insurance to claim their rebate on the spot with the “gap” fee required at time of consultation.

EPC – Enhanced Primary Care Plan / CDM– Chronic Disease Management Plan
Please note that our Clinic does not Bulk Bill therefore patients eligible to claim under Medicare’s Enhanced Primary Care Plan will have to pay for their treatment in full and then be reimbursed the Medicare Rebate from Medicare, which is currently $52.95 effectively making your out of pocket expense $42.05  for an initial and $32.05 for a follow up consultation.

Claiming the Medicare Rebate can be done one of two ways, either over the counter at your local Medicare office or we can process the claim electronically using the HICAPS terminal at the clinic on the day of your consult.

EPC/CDM – Electronically using HICAPS terminal

Full payment for the consult is made by either credit card or eftpos. (Private Health Funds cannot be used when claiming under EPC) we then swipe your Medicare Card and enter the EPC details which authorises the Medicare rebate. We then swipe your bank card linked to a savings or cheque account and request the rebate be deposited into that account (we cannot reimburse into a credit card). Rebates are normally deposited into the nominated account within 24 hours.

EPC/CDM – Medicare Office

Once your consultation is paid for in full we can generate an Invoice which contains all the EPC details and item numbers for you to take to your local Medicare office where they will process the medicare rebate directly into your nominated bank account.

DVA– Department of Veterans Affairs

DVA will be directly billed to Medicare. There is no out of pocket expenses.

DVA Gold Card holders—require referral letter from their GP.

DVA White Card holders—require a referral letter from their GP and pre-approval from DVA before their consultation.

Worksafe and TAC

We no longer see patients claiming under Workcover or TAC.
